Why we started a small studio
It started with a feeling that kept coming back in our own daily lives and work: I wish I could jot this down more easily. Notes about the household budget, prep records for a shop, the day we went to see something we love. All of it mattered, yet keeping it up felt like just a little too much work.
There are plenty of powerful apps out there. But the more features an app has, the higher the daily hurdle to even open it. What we wanted was a small tool that let you write down only what you need, quickly, and that left you a little happier when you looked back.
So we decided to build it ourselves. That is how Pomeranian Studio began. We want to hold on to the small touches and the easygoing feel that a big company cannot quite manage.
What we plan to build
We build small iOS apps that fit alongside your life and work. There are three broad themes: everyday notes, small touches of work management, and the memories of your hobbies. With all of them, we care most about keeping a record feeling light.
For example, Kaffe, which lets you log each cup of coffee one at a time, and Favvy, which gently keeps the memories of the things you love. The subjects differ, but in every case we are aiming for an experience that lightens your mood the moment you open it.

- Work management -- sized just right for sole proprietors and small shops
- Hobby memories -- where the act of keeping them is a little joy in itself
What we want to hold to as we build
One thing is not getting greedy with features. Rather than cramming in this and that, we put the lightness that lets you open it every day first. When we are unsure, we want to keep asking ourselves: is this really necessary?
Another is not overstating things. Instead of hyping up how convenient something is, we tell you plainly what it can and cannot do. On topics that touch money or taxes, we avoid making flat assertions and would rather take the stance of suggesting you consult a professional when it matters.
And we do not want to call it finished once it ships. We will keep listening to the people who use our apps and refine them little by little. The closeness that only a small studio can offer is something we want to keep cherishing.

In this development log we plan to write not only about new app announcements, but also about the thinking behind what we are making, the things we wrestled with, and what we learned along the way. We would be glad to quietly share the process, not just the finished result.
We are still a small studio that has only just begun, but we will build carefully, one thing at a time. We will keep working to deliver tools that quietly stay by your side through your day.
